‘Columbine Type’ Violence Threatened at Local School
LOS ANGELES — Security has been increased at Hamilton Senior High School after a message found on campus earlier this week threatened violence on April 24 — today.brbrAccording to the a href=javascript:void(window.open(’http://www.hamiltonhighschool.net/apps/news/show_news.jsp?REC_ID=93985amp;id=0amp;rn=3789801′));school’s website/a, someone wrote the threat in a school restroom, prompting an immediate investigation.brbrIt’s not known exactly what the message said, but police said it referenced Columbine.brbrThe Los Angeles Police Department and school police have been informed of the incident.brbrSchool officials also said extra security would be on campus Friday.brbrThe school’s website stated that a reward would be offered to any student who identifies the person who wrote the threat, leading to a conviction.brbrTwo non-Hamilton High School students were caught trespassing on campus Thursday and one had to be subdued with pepper spray by school police, according to the website.brbrBoth were taken to the Los Angeles Police Department.brbrIt was not
