Teen Shot Outside Local High School

SOUTH LOS ANGELES — A lockdown at a South Los Angeles high school has been lifted as police continue to search for a teenager suspected of shooting a 16-year-old male student in front of the school.brbrLos Angeles police Sgt. Ronnie Crump says there is an ongoing investigation Monday in the area of Locke Senior High School but the school is no longer shut down.brbrPolice say officers responded at 7:54 a.m. to reports that the suspect walked up to the student in front of the school, shot him in the upper body and then fled.brbrCrump says the victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital and is in stable but critical condition.brbrPolice are searching for the gunman, who is said to be a 17-year-old male hispanic.  It was not known whether he was a student at the school.brbrHe was described as about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt and tan
